Our immigration provisions in force grants the possibility for any Italian citizen to obtain permanent residence in Panama through the enforcement of the treaty of friendship, commerce, and navigation between Panama and Italy signed in 1966 in an approximate term of 4 to 6 months, as well as an Indefinite Work Permit. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The requirements to obtain this permanent residence in Panama are the following:<\/p>

1. Special Power of Attorney authenticated by a Notary Public. The power of attorney must contain the name and citizenship of the applicant’s parents<\/strong><\/p>

2. Three (3) photographs<\/strong><\/p>

3. A copy of your Passport duly authenticated by a Notary<\/strong><\/p>

4. Criminal Record<\/strong><\/p>

5. Health Certificate<\/strong><\/p>

6. Certified Check for US$250.00 in favor of the National Treasury<\/strong><\/p>

7. Affidavit Form of Personal Background<\/strong><\/p>

8. Document that demonstrates the purpose to establish your residence (economic or professional activity to be carried out):<\/strong><\/p>

a) Shares Certificate issued, paid and nominative shares<\/strong><\/p>

b) Contract of employment countersigned by the Ministry of Labor declaring a monthly salary of not less than US$850.00<\/strong><\/p>

c) Public Registry certificate of the company in any of the above cases<\/strong><\/p>

9.Proof that the resident has sufficient economic solvency, which may be accredited by means of a bank certification, or statement of account of the last month showing a balance of at least four (4) figures or another that demonstrates the resident’s income and expenses acceptable by the National Immigration Service in Panama<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
