Permanent Resident Visa For Self-Economic Solvency
Are you a foreigner and want to obtain your permanent residence in Panama? The Panamanian immigration legislation offers the possibility of applying for permanent residency by self-economic solvency through any of the following types of investments:
- Minimum investment of US$300,000 in real estate in Panama free of mortgage
- Minimum investment of US$300,000 in time deposit with funds coming from abroad.
- Mixed investment of real estate and time deposit if the sum of both amounts to US$300,000.
This resident visa is granted for two (2) years and allows the applicant to opt for permanent residence after this period.
