Trademark Renewal
The registration of a product or service trademark has a term of 10 years. The renewal of the registration of a trademark must be requested within the term comprised between the year immediately preceding and the six months following the expiration date of the respective registration.. Once this term expires without the renewal having been requested, the registration will expire by operation of law.
If your trademark registration is about to expire, we recommend you request its renewal, thus preventing the competition from taking advantage of said opportunity.
