Panama Marriage Visa
Any foreigner who has married a Panamanian citizen and who lives with him or her in conditions of singularity, stability, and continuity will have the right to apply for his or her permanent residency in Panama thirty (30) days from the date of his/her marriage.
To apply for this resident visa, the following documents must be submitted:
1. Power of Attorney authenticated by Notary. The power of attorney must contain the name and nationality of the applicant’s parents
2. Three (3) photographs
3. A copy of the passport duly notarized
4. Criminal Record
5. Health Certificate
6. Certified Check for US$250.00 in favor of the National Treasury
7. Personal Background Affidavit Form
8. Certificate of Marriage issued by the Civil Registry issued by the Civil Registry
9. Civil Registry
10. Birth Certificate of the Panamanian spouse issued by the Civil Registry
11. Certificate of Birth of the Panamanian children, if any, issued by the Civil Registry.
12. A copy of the identity card of the Panamanian spouse, authenticated by the Electoral Court in Panama
13. Sponsor and Repatriation letter of the Panamanian spouse, authenticated by Notary
14. Document that proves the marital domicile (Lease contract, title deed, or last receipt of public services)
15. To carry out the matrimonial interview
